Psalm 24

First Family,

If you have a moment today, I would like to recommend reading Psalm 24. This psalm starts with a verse that states, "The earth is the LORD’s and everything in it, the world and all who live in it." From one perspective, this verse can be humbling, but from another perspective, it can be extremely comforting. When you trust in the LORD for your provision and salvation, it is good news to know that the world and all who live in it belong to Him.

Hear these words again: "the world and all who live in it."

I feel more at ease and relaxed knowing that the world doesn't rest on my shoulders. I do my part and work hard, but at the end of the day, I confidently trust in the Lord, His provision, and His grace.

If you are feeling overwhelmed or anxious today, I suggest reading Psalm 24 to allow the reality of God's sovereign reign to rule your heart and mind. Let this psalm reset your perspective and lead you into a moment of worship.

Let’s all take a deep breath today and rest assured that our God reigns.

As a side note, I sat on my back patio while reading these words and breathing in the crisp morning air. I highly recommend it as a way to start your day.

Servant for HIS glory,
Pastor Robert
