The Easter Cross

A favorite tradition at FBCA is the Easter cross!

The cross is constructed annually and filled by those who attend Easter morning services.  This is a gift to Alexandria and a reminder of what Christ did on the cross for us all.

Children

  • Infants-PreK: Children’s programming is provided during both services.
  • Kindergarten-6th Grade: Sunday Groups will not meet. Children should attend the service with their parents.
  • Is this your first time? Register in advance to make your check-in process quick and seamless!

Parking

  • Parking is available in both the east and west lots.
  • Additional parking is available in the upper lot. This is located behind the building.
During the month of April, FBCA is hosting a Local Missions Offering which will be supporting missions in Virginia and specifically, Northern Virginia and Alexandria. FBCA's goal for the offering is $45,000 and will be distributed in the following manner:

• $15,000 will support the mission work of Alma Hunt Offering through the Woman's Missionary Union of Virginia and the Baptist General Association of Virginia. This work focuses on mission efforts with the state of Virginia.

• $15,000 will support the mission work of the Dorothy Allport Offering in Northern Virginia through NorthStar Church Association.

• $15,000 will support the mission work of For the Nations DC, Young Life, and Casa Chirilagua within Alexandria ($5,000 support for each partner).

Should the Easter Offering exceed its goal, additional funds will be distributed equally among the offerings and partners listed above.
