The Worship Leader Search Team is excited to announce that we are inviting Dylan Reese to come in view of a call as our next Pastor for Music and Worship the weekend of October 4–5, 2025.

From the beginning of this search, our congregation expressed a clear desire for a worship pastor who embodies certain core qualities.

  • A clear call from God to this role
  • A shepherd’s heart for pastoral care
  • Strong worship leadership experience
  • Musicianship and vocal excellence
  • Vision and creativity

We are thrilled to share that Dylan embodies these attributes!

Why We Are Excited About Dylan

  • Dylan has a proven record as a pastoral shepherd who loves the Lord and supports FBCA’s statement of faith.
  • He brings more than a decade of full-time ministry experience, including seven years as a worship pastor in Baptist churches.
  • Dylan holds a Bachelor of Music in Church Music (Baylor University, 2014) and a Master of Divinity (Truett Seminary, 2017).
  • He is a skilled musician, experienced in choir and orchestra leadership, vocal performance, and proficient in multiple instruments. His gifts also include composing and arranging music.

  • He has consistently partnered closely with senior pastors and collaborated with every area of church life.

We look forward to introducing you to Dylan and his wife Bethany, who is also an accomplished musician and serves as an elementary school music teacher. Together, they are raising two young children and share a deep partnership in ministry.

We are prayerful and expectant as Dylan and his family join us for this important weekend. More details about the weekend activities and opportunities to meet Dylan and his family will be available soon. We ask you to continue praying for God’s guidance and blessing as FBCA discerns His will together.
