Know You November

First Family,

Have you ever been in a situation at church where you have become so familiar with someone that you have passed the socially acceptable point of asking them for their name?  Maybe it is someone in your small group or the family you sit next to nearly every Sunday. You are familiar with them but not so much so that you know them by name.

For the month of November, we are hosting a special season titled “Know You November!”

Starting this November, we would like to ask that you wear a name tag every Sunday. During our services, we will have an extended greeting time, and we encourage you to greet one another by name. We aim to enhance our sense of community and uplift one another through increased personal engagement. We will provide everyone with a nametag starting on Sunday, November 5th. To register your family for printed name tags, please sign up using the link in the beacon or stop by the table in the commons area this Sunday.

Jesus reassured us in Luke 12:7 that God knows us personally, "Even the hairs of your head are all numbered." Let us reflect on this personal relationship among our congregation by getting to know one another on a first-name basis.

Servant for His Glory,
Pastor Robert
