Shepherd the Flock!

“Shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.” - 1 Peter 5:2-4

This week, we thank Wayne and Carolyn Jenkins for many years of faithful service to God’s Kingdom through FBCA. This coming Sunday, January 15th, we will host a reception to celebrate the ministry that God has given to them. We are so thankful for all the personal sacrifices that they have made, especially this past year. Wayne has done a wonderful job leading through a tough interim season.

While their formal ministry with FBCA is coming to a close, we know they will always have a special place within our church family, and we look forward to seeing them in worship each week as their schedule allows. They have been and will continue to be godly examples to us as followers of Christ. Please join me in expressing our appreciation this coming Sunday.
